listed at or above $1,000,000 and 16 (39%) were priced between $500,000 and $999,999.

Flathead County has seen 169 Residential closings this month. Of those, 24 (14%) were
listed at or above $1,000,000 and 62 (37%) were priced between $500,000 and $999,999.

If you've been following the local real estate market, the data from Q3 (July, August and September 2021) was not surprising, staying on trend from the previous quarter.
The Biggest Takeaways:
- Home prices continue to surge across Western Montana. Across the MLS, average home prices were up 30% (versus the
same quarter last year), with Bigfork (+58%), Columbia Falls (+56%) and Kalispell (+39%) all outperforming the average.
- Whitefish, specifically, saw average residential sales prices increase by 15%, sizable for its large base, however, was down from previous quarter (Q3: $1,050,000 / Q2 $1,111,754).
- Across the Valley, prices held firm - average percentage of list price fetched was at or slightly above 100%.
